Building Services & Project Delivery

The Building Services & Project Delivery area maintains, remodels, and upgrades university facilities to keep the building interiors and exteriors running at peak performance. There are several shops within our area that work together to keep BYU running smoothly: the Carpenter Shop; Dining & MTC Maintenance; Electrical Shop; Flooring & Upholstery Shop; Keys, Locks, & Access Control; Moving, Receiving, & Office Furniture; Paint & Sign Shop; Plumbing & Mechanical Shop; and Roofing, Glass, & Exteriors.

Carpenter Shop

We maintain all the woodwork inside and outside BYU campus and university-affiliated buildings.

Dining & MTC Maintenance

We provide equipment and appliance maintenance and repairs to keep the BYU dining areas and Provo MTC running at optimum efficiency.

Electrical Shop

We ensure electrical power to BYU campus and are responsible for campus generators, elevators, fire alarms, lighting installations, and electrical equipment.

Flooring & Upholstery Shop

We are responsible for BYU campus flooring, upholstery, and window coverings.

Keys, Locks, & Access Control

We are a combination of the Key Office and Locksmith Shop working together to manage and maintain BYU campus keys, ADA door access, and electronic door locks.

Moving, Receiving, & Office Furniture

We receive and install all modular furniture on BYU campus, pick up surplus items, maintain storage areas, and deliver tables, chairs, and risers for campus events.

Paint & Sign Shop

We provide paint and sign maintenance on campus, as well as creating door placards, posters, and banners.

Plumbing & Mechanical Shop

We maintain all of BYU campus’ culinary and distilled water, natural gas, sewer, fire sprinklers, and roof drains, as well as maintaining all HVAC duct remodeling.

We provide services to improve BYU's building exteriors, such as roofing, waterproofing, glass installation, caulking, and exterior cleaning.
