Work Order Lookup

Work Order Lookup Instructions

The installation of AccuTerm® by Zumasys enables users with a valid BYU Net ID to lookup a Physical Facilities (PF) work order by its work order number. PF college representatives and those granted access rights from the BoB security table may locate a work order without its work order number.

Installing AccuTerm® *** Only Required Once ***

  1. You must use Microsoft Internet Explorer. AccuTerm® is a browser program that will only run in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Other browsers are not currently supported.
    1. Please note that due to Microsoft's push to move web traffic from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge, there may be a connection issue with AccuTerm®. To stop the redirect from occurring, follow the steps to "Stop Internet Explorer (IE) From Redirecting to Microsoft Edge" in the troubleshooting section below.
  2. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, under Tools > Options > Security > Trusted Sites, add https://phyfac2.byu.edu and https://plantwo.byu.edu.
  3. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, under Tools > Options > Security, uncheck the "Enable Protected Mode" box for all three zones: Internet, Local intranet, and Trusted sites.
  4. Download and install the AccuTerm® Plugin by following the executable file instructions. The AccuTerm® Plugin executable file will appear in your downloads bar after you click the hyperlink. Use the default installation settings. Please note, if your computer requires an administrative password to download the file, please contact your department or college information support for assistance.
  5. Copy the following link into Internet Explorer to access the Work Order Lookup screen: https://phyfac2.byu.edu/ry/ryauto.htm.
  6. Click on the 'Work Order Lookup' tab. You are now ready to lookup the work order number.
