Grounds & Landscape Management

We work to create an inspiring outdoor setting for all who visit BYU. Grounds & Landscape Management has five separate shops of specialization, each of which works diligently to make the campus, campus housing, the Provo Temple, and the MTC neat, clean, and beautiful: Greenhouse & Events, Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Specialties, Recycling, and Site & Landscape Construction. Greenhouse & Events

Greenhouse & Events maintains BYU's greenhouse, as well as providing indoor plants and florals for campus events. We also design and install plants for office spaces and common areas on campus. During the Christmas season, poinsettias may be ordered through the greenhouse by submitting a poinsettia request form.

Grounds Maintenance

Grounds Maintenance is responsible for lawn care, edging, weeding, raking, cleaning sidewalks, and litter & trash cleanup on campus. We also assist with outside special event setup.

Landscape Specialties

Landscape Specialties maintains the trees, shrubs, and flower beds and applies fertilizer and pest control for all of campus. We provide waste removal for the university, as well as snow removal in the winter. We also maintain and prepare the turf for all BYU Athletics' fields.

Recycling

Recycling makes it possible for campus to recycle everyday items, such as office paper, newspaper, cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and industrial scrap metal. We will also take any old books or office papers that need to be discarded during an office move.

Site & Landscape Construction

Site & Landscape Construction assists with construction projects and the initial installation of landscape projects on campus. We install, repair, and maintain sprinkler systems, hardscapes, storm & sewer drains, streets, parking lots, and fencing. We also assist with snow removal from campus streets and parking lots.
