Thomas Bunker

"For years, students have been the lifeblood of BYU Grounds. No students = not much gets done.

For years, BYU Grounds has been *way* understaffed--with some shops reporting staffing rates as low as 13%, as recently as June of 2022.

Fast forward 12 months, and our Grounds Department has been *quite* well-staffed--with some shops boasting staffing rates as high as 100.3%!

So much of that recent success is the result of the sacrifice and efforts of Thomas Bunker. Others have made very significant contributions. But Thomas is the one who has, in large measure, spearheaded these efforts--and all of this in addition his trying to staff and manage his own crew.

And it is for these reasons that I would like to nominate Thomas Bunker for a SAERA award for our outstanding innovation and team play."
