Porter Brown

"It gives me great pleasure to recognize Porter Brown of the Electric Shop for Exceeding Customer Expectations. Not long ago, Porter was passing by my team in our lobby, when I asked if he could help us with one of our 10' tall trophy cases that had LED lighting that wasn't working. Even though he was on his way to work on another service request, he started testing locations on the Case. He worked on it for quite a while and said he would have to get additional tools to investigate further. Then, he said we needed to move and lift one end of the case in question, to check the wiring. Getting to the wiring was difficult and time-consuming, to say the least. After he accessed the wiring, he was able to repair it, so all 3 trophy cases had the LED lights on again. Porter's selfless service helped us to reach a hard deadline of Monday night, before a special event the following day. His actions reflect credit upon himself, the electric shop, and the Physical Facilities Group at Large."
