Kirk Jacobs

"Kirk Jacobs exemplifies teamwork to me. In a time when supply chain issues still exist and the need to get work done by a tight deadline, Kirk is able to bring shops and resources together to get work done. Kirk has a can-do attitude that he spreads throughout the campus. I feel that it is by faith that he knows that we will be able to get the work done to better serve BYU. Every time there's a job that gets done just in the nick of time; he thanks everyone for their contributions. Never does he take credit for his role no matter how big or small. That's what teamwork is all about.

There was a meeting I attended that Kirk said, "At BYU, we are a can-do people. With the right attitudes and hard work, we can come together to accomplish so much." That statement has stuck with me and changed my thinking. I am always looking for solutions and often times that solution is with teamwork. Kirk makes me want to be a better team player. He helped orchestrate the completion of many jobs this summer so that students could come back to a better campus to learn."
