Jesse Wheeler

"Jesse is assigned to the CB as an HVAC technician. While he has only been assigned to the CB for a short period of time, he has already found and fixed several air handling problems we have had for years. These persistent problems not only caused employees and students to experience uncomfortable levels of heat and cold but also prevented the college from conducting important experiments because fume hoods were not able to work properly. However, Jesse has worked hard to troubleshoot the issues and solve the problems. His tenacity is evident in his willingness to continue to look down the line until he figures out where the problem is. He genuinely wants the problem fixed permanently, rather than looking for a quick patch. In addition, Jesse is pleasant to work with. He communicates quickly and fully. He responds to questions in a forthright and profession~/ manner and always has a good attitude. The College of Engineering is very grateful to have him assigned to our building."
