EXCEEDING CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS
"Jake Lee continually exceeds customer expectations! Most recently was the support he provided for the Physical Facilities Student Employee Appreciation Lunch. PF provides this annual lunch for our nearly 2000 student employees. Because of this large number and because of the many non-employee students who love free food, PF requires a ticket. Traditionally, tickets were paper which created challenges, so this year I decided to try Eventbrite, which I had never used. I asked Jake if he could produce a list of student employee emails so I could send them a link to order a ticket, but Jake went above and beyond my request! Jake explored Eventbrite and learned how it could work for us. He ran tests before it went live and researched to discover cell phones could be used to check in guests. Due to the size of the event, we needed six ticket takers, so I asked Jake if he could provide IT support for those ticket takers, and he was happy to assist. He was so busy during the event that unfortunately he missed getting a JDawg provided for lunch, but he didn't seem to mind since he's an easy-going guy who's always willing to help!"
