"Devan has displayed complete ownership in the way he handles his assigned buildings and the extra effort it takes to keep the chilled water system working. He has worked countless hours through the night and over the weekends taking care of the emergencies that arise through power outages, emergencies that arise in the chilled water plants. Being able to excel under the pressure of a major emergency and being able to move the demand around on campus to ensure proper chilled water to the entirety of campus without campus knowing what has happened. For example, on April 17, 2024, while cleaning out the upper plant sump, the lower plant lost power. Devan was able to help with getting other chillers on line quickly, so we didn't lose control of any building chilled water."
