Ron Pukahi

"A few months ago, we had a problem with the air pressure dropping below the required PSI, so we couldn't run our machines. This is the good part, I called Ron Pukahi, we needed a repair to finish our machining. Ron almost immediately went to the air compressor in question and got it running again for us. The problem though is the compressor kept shutting down. After discussing this with Ron, he came up with an idea to keep the compressor running. This meant he had to stay with the compressor to keep it going so we could finish machining the parts we needed done. So, with Ron running the air compressor and us running our machines we became a team. We ended up having multiple days like this until the compressor was fixed and each time Ron came to the rescue. Ron wasn't the only one involved with getting the compressors ultimately fixed for good, however, he was the person to lead a team to find and correct the issues with the air compressor. Ron stepped up to the plate for us and the word around campus is he does this for everyone."
